Welcoming a new baby into the world is a momentous and sacred occasion, and importantly a time to honour and recognise the birth of a new Mother.
I have deep reverence for the fourth trimester as a sacred time for rest, integration, nourishment, and connection. Through my work, I centre the mother at the core of my care while ensuring the whole family system is supported in a way that encourages the mother to thrive.
As your postpartum doula, I am here to honour and nurture your postpartum needs, physically, emotionally, spiritually and practically. I will meet you exactly where you are on your journey, and our time together is tailored to your individual needs. With trust, compassion, and empathy at the centre of my approach, I hold space for you to tap into your inner authority and flourish as a new mother.

“After birth there is a sacred window of time ; a time for complete rejuvenation of a woman's physical, mental and spiritual health; a time for deep, extended bonding with her newborn. The first 42 days after birth sets the stage for her next 42 years”

kind words
“I can’t thank you enough for supporting me through this magical birth. I really had quite an unsure attitude to birthing after my last experience and you were never judgemental of my comments and always knew the right things to say. I am so, so excited I got to experience a water birth and your constant support physically and emotionally were invaluable. I truly felt comfortable with you when I was at my most vulnerable. Sarah, you have such a special aura about you and guiding women and families through this special time is your calling.”
